CARTERSVILLE, Ga. -- Tellus Science Museum's next Lunch and Learn will focus on the region's potential for future natural gas production.
Geologist John R. Absalon will speak at the Cartersville museum on Wednesday, Aug. 27 at 12:15 p.m.
Absalon will discuss the methods of possibly extracting natural gas in northwest Georgia, as well as the safety and risks involved in the process.

Lunch and Learn events are free for Tellus members and included in admission price for non-members. Attendees are welcome to purchase meals from the on-site cafe; no outside food is allowed.
